Azure Power has commissioned a 150 Megawatt (Mw) solar power project at Bhadla solar park in Rajasthan.
This is the first phase of the 200 Mw allocated to Azure Power by Solar Energy Corporation (SECI). Azure Power will supply power to SECI at a tariff of Rs 2.48 per unit for 25 years.
Azure Power had developed the first SECI solar power plant in Rajasthan in 2015.
Azure now has 1,600 Mw of operational solar assets spread across 24 states in India including a solar rooftop portfolio of over 200 Mw.
