Waaree Energies has launched a financial lending facility for solar power developers.
The financing solution focuses on the residential and the small-scale industries segment and will cover up to 70 percent of the total project cost repayable though EMIs.
The company has partnered with Metafin Cleantech, a Non Banking Financial Company active in renewable energy and clean tech space, for providing this facility.
Despite increasing awareness and demand of solar solutions in small and residential segment ,the adoption of such technologies is slower due to the high cost of solar projects.
The ease of financing through Waaree in association with NBFCs is intended to bridge such gaps.
Waaree Energies is the flagship company of Waaree Group with a solar PV module manufacturing capacity of 1.5 GW. It is also present in EPC services, project development, rooftop solutions, solar water pumps sector and is also an Independent Power Producer.
The company has operations in 68 countries including India.
