THDCIL to develop 100 MW of Solar in UP

Tehri Hydro Development Corporation Limited India Ltd (THDCIL) is on the lookout for engineering procurement construction (EPC) firms to develop up to 100 MW of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects in Uttar Pradesh (UP).

Minimum project capacity will be 10 MW at a single location. THDCIL has mandated that a single district won’t have more than 30 MW of solar PV projects or three projects of 10 MW each. The successful bidder/s will also have to provide operation and maintenance (O&M) services for a period of 25 years.

Land identification and acquisition will be the responsibility of the successful bidder, who will in turn transfer the land under THDCIL’s name within four months of signing of power purchase agreement (PPA) with UPPCL. Project completion time-frame is 12 months from the date of PPA signing.

Joint ventures and consortiums are barred from participating in this tender.
