Avaada Energy, one of India’s top renewable energy independent power producers (IPPs), has successfully completed the commissioning of 2.2 GW of utility-scale solar PV projects. The capacity is distributed throughout nine different states in the nation..

Avaada Energy installed 1 GW of renewable energy capacity in India last year, making it the biggest renewable energy IPP in the country. The achievement of this milestone is all the more significant because it was accomplished in the midst of challenges caused by COVID, which manifested themselves in major challenges such as supply chain disruptions in India and abroad, a steep increase in raw material prices, and workforce issues, among other things.

Avaada expects to have 5 GW of installed capacity by the end of 2022 and 11 GW by the end of 2025, thanks to strong performance.
