The platform also features the world’s first mass-produced integrated drive axle (IDA) and a five-link rear suspension system which is typically used in mid and large-sized vehicles.

The brand has also revealed that E-GMP architecture is capable of delivering a maximum range of over 500km on a single charge.

The brand has also announced that from 2021 the E-GMP will underpin the IONIQ 5, Kia Motor Corporations dedicated EVs lined-up for 2021 and other models that will be revealed in the future.
