BELECTRIC Bags A New 250 MW Solar Contract In Rajasthan

BELECTRIC, a German company, further increases its footprint in the ever-growing solar industry of India by securing a major contract for a PV project in Rajasthan.

BELECTRIC

BELECTRIC will be the construction and commissioning partner as well as operation and maintenance services (O&M) partner to the large-scale solar plant on behalf of the owner Fortum Solar Plus Private Limited (Fortum).

With a planned installed capacity of 250 MW AC the solar power plant will be one of India’s largest installations.

BELECTRIC Photovoltaic India Pvt. Ltd. is an established EPC in India. The company was founded in 2009 and has been steadily growing its footprint in India, starting with MWp scale projects to one of India’s first 1,500 V systems and two of Asia’s largest rooftop installations on a single location.

In total the company has been involved in solar projects in India with an installed capacity of more than 1GWp.

This new Fortum contract further strengthens their strong position as a system integrator and general contractor for utility-scale ground-mounted PV in the challenging Indian market.

Together with the project in Rajasthan, BELECTRIC will break through the one gigawatt level of installed capacity in India this year.
