We want to build on this strong momentum, and today we’re thrilled to announce we’re expanding our Los Lunas data center to include a second 460,000 square foot building bringing the total square footage to 980,000. Building one will be live and serving traffic in late 2018, and now with a second building, we expect to keep construction crews busy until 2020. At peak, we project 1,000 construction workers will be on site daily. This expansion will also add additional full-time employees. Just like the first, our second building will be one of the most advanced and energy efficient data center facilities in the world, featuring the latest in OCP server, storage, and network designs. It will also be powered with 100 clean and renewable energy thanks to the new renewable energy tariff we worked extensively with Public Service Company of New Mexico to design and implement. Were so grateful to Gov. Susana Martinez, as well as our federal, state, and local partners, for their ongoing support. Our appreciation goes out to the entire Los Lunas community and our employees, whose encouragement has enabled us to reach this point. We’re proud to call Los Lunas our home.(Courtesy: Facebook) dhanson@abqjournal.com Mon Jul 17 16:34:44 -0600 2017 1500330883 FILENAME: 671963.jpgContinue Reading
