The power infrastructure and renewable energy business of Godrej Electricals & Electronics, a commercial arm of Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Company Limited, has received orders totaling more than Rs 20 billion from power transmission, railway and solar projects in West Bengal.

Engineering, procurement, and construction for 400 kV and 765 kV extra high voltage substations across India, a gas-insulated switchgear substation with 220 kV underground cable in Mumbai, and a 132 kV substation project in Nepal are among the projects. In addition, the business has received an order for a 20 MW ground-mounted solar facility in West Bengal.
Furthermore, the company has made its debut in railway electrification with a Rs 9 billion project from Indian Railways for the building of traction substations and associated works.
