Actis LLP is keen to purchase the renewable energy assets of India’s Bhoruka Group, the Indian group currently has 321 MW of renewable energy capacity in its portfolio. The assets include 121 MW of hydropower plants (HPPs), 170 MW of wind and 30 MW of solar capacity.
The deal, expected to have an enterprise value of about INR 27 billion, is close to be struck. Actis is currently conducting due diligence. Yes Securities will act as the sole investment manager for the transaction.
