Gujarat-based company Saatvik Green Energy has been awarded a contract to install a 12 MW rooftop solar project for a steel conglomerate in Orissa. The details of the contract value have not been disclosed.
Saatvik announced that they will carry out the project on a space measuring 25,522 square meters, utilizing 545 watt peak monocrystalline PERC panels.
Saatvik stated that by setting up a 12 MW rooftop solar project, the steel conglomerate can produce a significant amount of clean and renewable energy, which will help decrease its carbon emissions and reliance on non-renewable energy sources. This installation will enable the steel giant to reduce 9,600 metric tons of CO2 emissions annually.
