JinkoSolar Supplies Solar PV Modules for Jacumba Solar Project, USA

The Jacumba Solar Project which is located in San Diego County, California,  will receive JinkoSolar Solar PV Modules.

JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. a global leader in the PV industry, will supply 28.2 MW dc of its solar PV modules to Swinerton Renewable Energy, for the construction of the Jacumba Solar Project. It has built a vertically integrated solar product value chain, with an integrated annual capacity of 6.0 GW for silicon ingots and wafers, 4.5 GW for solar cells, and 7.5 GW for solar modules, as of June 30, 2017.

The Jacumba Solar Project consists of more than 80,000 JinkoSolar 1500 volt monocrystalline PERC modules. The project was energized in early August, seven months after it was acquired by BayWa r.e in late 2016. Swinerton Renewable Energy provided engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) for the project.
