Panasonic & Enphase Energy to develop High-Efficiency Solar AC Modules

Panasonic Corporation of North America and Enphase Energy have formed a new strategic partnership focused on the development of high efficiency AC Modules (ACMs).

Beginning in May 2018 the 320W Enphase IQ 7X Microinverter — offering compatibility with Panasonic’s N series Photovoltaic (PV) Modules HIT (N325/N330) — will be made available to distributors in the US.

This partnership with Enphase Energy will enable Panasonic to combine its products and expertise to offer a new solar solution that can help customers meet their renewable energy needs. This offering should revolutionize the residential solar industry.

Something to note here, for those unfamiliar with them. Panasonic’s N Series HIT Modules are currently host to some of the highest conversion-efficiencies available on the home/residential solar PV panel market, partly due to possessing some of the “best” temperature coefficients out there now.

Also notable is that they are known to be durable, and are officially rated to retain at least 90.76% of their output after 25 years of regular use.

The Panasonic-Enphase ACMs will provide highly advanced PV systems to home owners and quick installation time for integrators and installers.
