Force Motors Limited and Jaya Hind Industries have agreed to use power generated from a 6.2 MW AC plant and a 7 MW AC plant, respectively. These plants will be part of Tata Power Renewable Energy’s solar facility in Achegaon, Maharashtra, with a total capacity of 13.2 MW AC. The facility is expected to produce an annual power output of 29.04 MUs and reduce carbon emissions by approximately 21,200 metric tonnes per year. The project is expected to be completed within 12 months.

Tata Power Renewable Energy will be responsible for the overall management, organization, and maintenance of the solar facility that is collectively owned by a group. This facility will generate clean and dependable electricity for Force Motors Limited and Jaya Hind Industries Private Limited, allowing them to contribute to environmental sustainability.

In November 2023, Tata Power Renewable Energy received a letter of award from SJVN Limited for the establishment of a 200 MW reliable and dispatchable renewable energy project, with the possibility of additional capacity. The company has achieved a group captive project capacity of more than 1.4 GW in the last seven months by signing power delivery agreements with various industries.
