Macquarie to buy Indian solar parks in USD-600m deal

Macquarie Group Ltd, Australian financial services major, has reached an agreement to buy 330 MW of solar power plants in India from Hindustan Powerprojects Pvt Ltd

Two people familiar with the matter told the daily that the deal comes at an enterprise value of USD 600 million (EUR 564m). One of them has noted that this includes USD 350 million of project-related debt.The Australian group will implement the transaction through Macquarie Asia Infrastructure Fund (MAIF).
