Green Fuel Solutions

The collaboration targets offering these integrated clean energy solutions in India and across the globe. Hygenco will play a key role by ensuring a steady supply of green fuel for MHI’s GTCC technology. This will involve developing and deploying large-scale, commercially viable green hydrogen and ammonia production facilities. Hygenco plans to operate these facilities under a build-own-operate or gas-as-a-service model.

Synergy for Decarbonization

“This collaboration will create a powerful synergy between Hygenco’s green fuel supply and Mitsubishi’s advanced technology, driving decarbonization efforts in India and internationally,” stated Hygenco.

Mitsubishi’s Hydrogen Expertise

Mitsubishi Power is a leader in developing hydrogen firing technologies. Their focus lies in decarbonizing existing GTCC plants by replacing natural gas with hydrogen fuel. The company actively participates in numerous projects globally, including Europe, that aim to convert existing gas turbine power plants to utilize blended or pure hydrogen.

This MoU signifies a promising step towards a cleaner energy future. By combining Hygenco’s green fuel expertise with Mitsubishi’s proven GTCC technology, the partnership has the potential to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the power generation sector.
