Bidders Invited for 160MW Hybrid Project with Energy Storage

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) seeks parties interested in developing a 160-MW solar-wind hybrid project with energy storage in Andhra Pradesh.

The proposed hybrid renewable energy complex will be located in the state’s Ramgiri district. Under the plan, SECI will be its owner and sell its output to off-takers including Andhra Pradesh distribution companies under a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA).

SECI noted that common facilities and infrastructure for the scheme will be provided by the New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (NREDCAP), while transmission units will be supplied by Andhra Pradesh Transmission Co Ltd (AP Transco).
